Shadiya is an award-winning performer committed to the art of authentic folkloric and contemporary Egyptian dance.
She embraces people of all ages, sizes and abilities, inviting them to experience the fun, beauty and health benefits of Middle Eastern Dance. Her ability to recognize and meet the unique needs of every student has led to the creation of special classes for children, seniors and alternative lifestyles, in addition to her regular classes. With clear, concise instruction, she ensures a safe and supportive environment for Every Body.

Shadiya currently offers classes throughout Honolulu. Private and semi-private lessons by appointment.

Bellydance for Seniors
This class is designed as a low impact fitness and movement activity open to all ages and abilities. Improve flexibility, coordination and stamina in a fun, supportive environment.
Ongoing classes
Wednesdays 9:30am - 10:30am
$2 per class for members, $4 non-members

Spectacular costumes and authentic interpretation of Egyptian and North African Dance can provide professional entertainment for your next event.

Available for weddings, anniversaries, birthday and retirement parties, corporate events, baby luaus and more. Tastefully presented for all ages and occassions, appropriate for the entire family.

Professional Performances

Book a solo (Shadiya), Duet (Shadiya and adult or child dancer) or an Ensemble (2 or more dancers + drummer). Middle Eastern musician ensemble can be arranged for an additional fee.

I have benchmarked my career as an Instructor and Entertainer by supporting women to have a more postitive self image and body awareness. And at the same time I struggled with my own professional image. I used to eat next to nothing in order to maintain my size, and it was a difficult lifestyle to achieve the energy level needed for the work that I do. I have lost 30 pounds in 5 months, and I'd be happy to share my journey so you can achieve health and wellness, too.
