New World Rhythmatism Ensemble

In this class, dancers and drummers learn to use simple cues to develop choreographies and musical ideas on-the-fly, both as leaders and followers.

The Honolulu NWR Ensemble meets Sundays at 3:30pm sharp until 5pm at StudioBe, 63 N. Beretania Street, 2nd floor, Honolulu, Hawaii 96817 (MAP). Feel free to visit as a guest observer.

Please note: before joining the ensemble, dancers take Shadiya's Egyptian Dance Class for a t least a month, and may schedule private sessions to learn the foundations of the NWR method. Drummers can audition and schedule private sessions with Michael or Tara.
